Description

We are looking for a motivated and experienced frontend engineer with in-depth knowledge in web application design and development. You will be working on designing and developing innovative front-end and backend software features using micro services architecture for our organization’s internal web applications. Our ideal candidate must have demonstrated expertise in Javascript, React/Redux, Typescript, HTML and CSS. You are comfortable with analyzing business requirements, identifying gaps, and translating requirements into technical designs. You are proficient and adhere to the best practices of software development, such as agile development, code reviews, continuous integration, and automated testing. You have worked closely with project managers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, estimate efforts accordingly, and ultimately deliver high quality work on-time.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience building client-side web applications with JavaScript, HTML,and CSS
  • Expertise with JavaScript single page apps using React/Redux & TypeScript
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs, interpreting OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, and integrating frontend systems with backend services. Strong understanding of HTTP protocols, cookies, headers, authentication, and API documentation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Applied knowledge of unit testing/Test Driven Development, experience with performance optimization
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization and databases beneficial
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Decision-making skills to make effective technical and design choices while balancing trade-offs in a fast-paced environment

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
