Description

As a software engineer on the Bolt team you have the following responsibilities: - Design and implement new user-facing features and capabilities in Bolt’s web-based user interface and client libraries. - Lead effective design processes. Create mocks, write design documents, gather feedback, and drive implementation plans. - Work as part of our team of engineers to integrate existing services or implement new services, as needed. - Partner with data scientists and machine learning engineers across different Apple organizations to define opportunities to improve the machine learning platform. - Gather and analyze usage data to measure and understand impact of existing product features, and detect gaps and opportunities for improvements.

Qualifications

  • Software development skills, with proficiency in React.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python
  • Experience designing & building user experiences in technical domains, e.g. command-line tools, end user APIs, or data visualizations
  • Experience driving user experience design based on real world data
  • Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent industry work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building back-end services in Python or Golang
  • Experience working with relational/SQL databases
  • Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence workflows, language, and processes
  • Experience deploying applications and distributed systems on Kubernetes
  • Advance degree in Computer Science

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
