This Vision Products Group (VPG) is looking for a Machine Learning engineer to help us shape and craft the next generation of interactive creative applications for our platform. This team is working with some of Apple's most advanced technologies in Generative AI. As a member of our organization, you will assist us in crafting future products that will delight, inspire and empower millions of people!

Qualifications

  • Master's Comp Sci with AI or ML focus
  • Strong background in computer science: algorithms, data structures and system design
  • Strong programming skills in Python and ML Toolkits with 5+ years of experience in using these languages for machine learning (ML) modeling and applied research
  • Hands-on experience with building Deep Learning applications
  • Experience deploying and serving of LLMs
  • Ability to drive early-stage research projects with risks and ambiguity
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional setting. Ability to work hands-on with multi- functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD CS with AI or ML Focus
  • Experience in neural rendering and 3D graphics
  • Passionate about building extraordinary creative applications with Generative AI
  • Industry experience in shipping on-device ML models

Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
