- Engage deeply with business teams to identify opportunities and translate the needs into innovative and practical AI/ML & GenAI applications (e.g., chatbots, text summarization, video processing) - Foster close collaboration with engineers and infrastructure partners to implement scalable, robust AI/ML & GenAI applications - Effectively communicate analytical insights to partners and senior leaders, providing clear, actionable recommendations - Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in AI. Regularly research and present new ideas to improve the team's technical capabilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math or a related field
  • PhD/MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math or a related field
  • 7+ years of industry experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle novel challenges, combined with strong communication and interpersonal capabilities
  • Proven experience with modern deep learning frameworks, e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow
  • Hands-on experience working with transformer-based architectures, e.g., GPT, BERT
  • Hands-on experience with RAG, LLM fine-tuning
  • Familiarity with GenAI frameworks and tools, e.g., LangChain
  • Solid understanding of foundational ML concepts including supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning
  • Experience with model deployment pipelines and serving GenAI models in production
  • Experience working in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field
  • Ability to operate independently and lead without authority

Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
