Description

As a Senior Engineer on the Intelligence Platform Team, you’ll join a phenomenal team of hardworking engineers and will be entrusted with a range of responsibilities. Your work will include: Collaborating with teams across Apple on training, qualifying, deploying, and serving models; designing and refining systems and APIs for Machine Learning and Generative AI; understanding and adapting new model architectures to constraints of their execution environments; working with leadership across Apple to define policy. You will be responsible for bringing industry leading research to hundreds of millions of people using Apple products every day!

Qualifications

  • Excellent software design, problem solving and debugging skills
  • Background architecting and building data or machine learning platforms
  • Experience building on LLMs or other generative models
  • Proven ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply cutting-edge research into tangible applications.
  • Deep understanding of multi-threaded programming and synchronization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building production feature engineering pipelines a plus
  • Experience with distributed data systems a plus
  • Experience with macOS/iOS development is a plus

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
